We are proud to announce a new Facade Grant opportunity for Commercial Property owners within the Downtown Historic Macon area! You may be eligible to qualify for assistance for facade renovations - awnings, signage, plants, anything to improve the outside front of your building or business.

Main Street Macon is able to make the Facade Grant Program possible due to a grant received from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas and BankFirst Financial Services.

The Main Street program's success is based on a comprehensive strategy of work, tailored to Noxubee County Courthouse local needs and opportunities, in four broad areas, called Main Street Four Point Approach:

ORGANIZATION: Building consensus and cooperation among the many groups and individuals who have a role in the revitalization process.
DESIGN: Enhancement of the physical appearance of the downtown district by renovating historical buildings and adding new elements.
PROMOTION: Organization and coordination of marketing activities to draw residents and tourists to shop downtown Macon.
ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING: Devising and implementing new strategies to expand the existing economic base of downtown Macon.
